Franz (alone) in Hanover

Hi, I'm Franz!

When I started my dual study program “Business Informatics with a focus on Data Science” at the HDI Group, I was facing a big change: I would be moving to Hanover - alone, without family, without friends. To be honest, it was a strange feeling at first. I asked myself: Will I be able to make friends in a completely new city? Would I be able to make new friends? It was like jumping in at the deep end.

Despite all the uncertainties, I was looking forward to the change - to the start of my career, the dual study program and the new challenges. Then came my first day at HDI and I was warmly welcomed from the very first moment. My colleagues made it easy for me to feel at home.

Today I can say that I know all my friends in Hanover through work. The team spirit here is really special: familiar, supportive, honest. Looking back, moving to Hanover and starting at the HDI Group was the best decision I ever made.
