The House of Insurance. Law, maths and business studies under one roof

As one of the leading insurance companies in Hanover, we as HDI are an active partner of the House of Insurance, which was founded at Leibniz Universität Hannover in 2018. The interdisciplinary research centre strengthens Hannover as a traditional insurance location and brings together the fields of economics, mathematics and law.

At the House of Insurance, students gain practical insights into insurance-related topics at an early stage and can make valuable contacts in the industry through lectures, seminars and projects.

HDI actively supports this approach and offers a wide range of development opportunities such as internships, student traineeships, mentoring and final theses. Together with the House of Insurance, we also offer a dual doctoral programme that combines research and practical experience in the company.

The partnership between HDI and the House of Insurance offers students the opportunity to gain practical insights into the insurance industry at an early stage, make valuable contacts and develop their skills on real-life issues.
