Questions most frequently asked by students

What are the requirements I have to meet for an internship or an employment as a student employee with the HDI Group?

We want our colleagues to be focussed and motivated to move things together with us. In addition, your area of study should match the desired area of work, and you should have shown good academic performance and have English skills.

What are the subjects of study with which I can enter into an employment with the HDI Group?

We are always looking for talented students of economics, (business) mathematics, (business) informatics, jurisprudence and (business administration and) engineering. Your subject of study is not included? No problem – we are also pleased to receive applications from students of other areas of study and will look for a suitable placement.

How long does an internship last?

An internship with us should last at least two months. The more time and motivation you bring with you, the better we will get to know each other – and the more you will be able to achieve during your internship!

Can I also do an internship abroad with the HDI Group?

Yes, you can principally also join one of our international locations. Please address your application to the respective foreign branch/company, directly.

Will I receive remuneration during my internship?

For your legal clerkship, you will be paid a monthly remuneration in the amount of € 750 gross. And for an internship, we pay € 2,106 gross per month.

In which divisions of the HDI Group is it possible to prepare a graduation thesis?

You can write your graduation thesis in almost all of our divisions. You are welcome to apply via our Job Board or unsolicitedly, directly. Please inform us in your application of the topic your graduation thesis is supposed to have and for how long or to what extent we can support you.

Do I have to have completed an internship with the HDI Group before I can write my graduation thesis with you?

A previous internship is not required for writing a graduation thesis with us at our company. It is, however, possible to combine the writing of your graduation thesis with an internship with us.

How many hours per week do student helpers work with the HDI Group?

Where an employment as a working student is concerned the maximum working time is 20 hours per week. Normally, you will work with us on at least two days per week.
