Please introduce yourself

My name is Larissa, I'm 30 years old, I'm from Celle, but I live in Hannover (in the beautiful List) since I started my apprenticeship at HDI in 2011. My hobbies are the usual suspects: Meeting friends, cooking, traveling and crafting. I currently work at HDI Risk Consulting GmbH as a business interruption risk analyst for industrial and corporate clients.

What does your day-to-day work look like?

My workday is a colorful mix with many tasks. Since I usually start early in the morning, I always check my calendar first for the upcoming day and get an overview of my new mails. After that, I work my way along my handwritten To Dos (I love to be able to check things off in real life). Throughout the day, I answer calls and e-mails from policyholders, brokers, and colleagues on the subject of business interruption.

What do you like about the insurance industry?

On the one hand the unpredictable and on the other hand the structured, for me a perfect match.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

That hardly one day is like the other. But if I had to answer more specifically, it's customer appointments (preparing for the appointment, traveling, interacting with the customer and presenting results or something similar).
