Our trainee programs

Lay the foundation for your professional future – by a trainee program with the HDI Group! With us, you will encounter a working environment which is open for other perspectives and new methods. Through stages in various areas you will have a change to get deep insights into our company and your subsequent work and to build a network. During your introductory training and in your daily tasks, experienced colleagues will lend you their support as mentors. In addition, we will support you by way of technical and methodical training events. It is important to us to develop the competencies and talents of each individual person as it is only together that we can achieve something great!

To join us as a trainee you should have successfully graduated from your bachelor’s or master’s degree. Apart from that, we want you to be able to organize yourself well, to work in a solution-oriented manner and to be motivated to participate actively and to contribute your ideas in the transformation of our company. Trainee programs at a glance


Placements, training events, and taking on tasks in a self-responsible manner: The 18-month trainee program will prepare you for your future IT position. Following that, you will get started with us, e.g., as a Java developer, IT business analyst or scrum master.


During the 12-month trainee program you will learn to evaluate risks and to develop and analyze insurance concepts. In the course of this, you will acquire broad technical know-how in training events and by cooperating with experienced colleagues.

Risik Management / Actuarial Office

By placements in different departments and companies you will gain insights into the risk management of the HDI Group. During the 18-month program you may also get additional training to become an actuary, at your request.
