DE&I has a high priority for us as HDI Group. We believe in the importance of inclusive behaviours and skills as crucial business factors and contribute to the development of every employee’s full potential. The internal and external dialogue as well as projects and measures designed to strengthen DE&I at HDI Group are to be encouraged. We are dedicated to creating a work environment and a corporate culture in which everyone feels comfortable and valued. With this goal in mind, we shall systematically act on, review and as necessary adjust our strategy and its action fields.

We believe in developing our management towards inclusive leadership to ensure that our employees are enabled to be their best, personally and professionally.

A not inconsiderable part of our workforce will withdraw from their active working life within the next ten years. Yet we want to keep the know-how and experience of our experts and to specifically pass it on to our younger employees.

At HDI Group, discrimination based on age, different abilities, gender and gender identity, ethnic background and nationality, social background, religion and worldview, sexual orientation, or any other case is not tolerated under any circumstances. We follow up on every suspected case of discrimination and initiate all necessary steps to penalise instances of discrimination and develop measures for the prevention of such conduct.

Nobody within HDI Group needs fear consequences if they speak up for equality, fairness and respect and against discrimination. Particularly deserving efforts are valued and highlighted through explicit praise, recognition and potentially awards with a view to promoting our company's values and culture.

As we see it, it is important to develop a shared understanding of DE&I at HDI Group and for all of us to grasp the relevance of DE&I and learn about its background. To this end, further training activities are offered to our employees on all hierarchical levels. Our managers take responsibility for ensuring that appropriate opportunities can be acted on and that barriers within the organisation which could adversely affect our ability to learn from one another within this internationally positioned and multifaceted Group are dismantled.
