EUR 1,455 gross per month in the 1st year of training
EUR 1,532 gross per month in the 2nd year of training
EUR 1,620 gross per month in the 3rd year of training
Apart from that, you will receive a 13th and 14th month’s salary and capital-forming benefits, and we will bear the costs of your class books, seminars, and trips.

When can I apply for a vocational training program?
Due to a system change, it is unfortunately not yet possible to apply for the 2026 intake. We look forward to receiving your application from October onwards.
How does the application procedure at the HDI Group look like?
You send us your online application via our Job Board

I have got a trainee position. What documents do I need now?
Congratulations! We are happy that you will soon be part of our team. Please provide us with your social security card, your tax identification number, a health insurance membership certificate, your current account details, and your signed work contract and the data protection agreement, at the beginning of your training.
Do I have to register with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and with the vocational school myself?
Don’t worry, the training supervisor responsible for you at that time and his/her team will arrange for your registration. We also will inform you in time when your vocational school will start.
How long is the probation period of the vocational training program?
The probation period for a vocational training course with us is four months.
Will I be given support before my examinations?
As a vocational trainee with the HDI Group you will be optimally prepared for your examinations. With us, you will be taught on a company and inter-corporate level. In addition, you will attend exam preparation courses and various seminars.
How will things continue after the training?
After your training, many doors will be open to you: You want to enrol in a course of studies afterwards or to qualify further? We will be glad to support you! Not only financially – with the HDI Group you have the opportunity to reduce your working hours to be able to devote more time to your studies.
Can I change between office and field work during my training?
It is important to us to attend to the wishes of our vocational trainees on an individual level. Provided your respective training schedule allows for this, we can also enable you to change.
