The HDI & RTL Charity Marathon 2023
Joey and the teams face a completely new challenge this time: playing American football for 24 hours. Play football? Against each other? With two teams? No. Football will be played in a slightly different way.
In a 24-hour football challenge, employees of the HDI Group once again raised money for a good cause this year. As every year, the fundraising event took place in Cologne. Joey Kelly took part this year.
The challenge in 2023: Play 24 hours of football
The sport is organised in such a way that everyone can take part. Participants have to complete 5 - 6 different tasks on a circuit (approx. 300 metres). It's like an obstacle course with special tasks. For example, throwing the football, running through obstacles and passing to a team-mate.
The whole thing is organised as a relay, in which one participant per team is active at all times. The participants help Joey Kelly to complete the 24 hours and collect as many donations as possible. The 24h-Fitness-Challenge is a strong signal in difficult times and a sporting event with a guaranteed fun factor.
